Faith Formation

Preschool Age 3 to Kindergarten
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an approach to the religious formation of children that is based on the conviction that God and the child are in relationship.  This approach, rooted in the Bible and the Liturgy of the Church, provides children the use of hands-on materials to work with as they internalize the great mysteries of our Faith.

Session Times
Mondays 6-7:15pm
Wednesdays 4:00-5:15pm OR 5:30-6:45pm

Full '22-'23 schedule is available on the CGS page

All Saints offers this program for children ages 5-9 years old during the 9:00am and 11:00am Sunday masses two to three weekends per month. Through this experience of the liturgy, children hear the Sunday readings accompanied by a short teaching in language that is suitable to their age, inspired by the principles of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Children will exit the main sanctuary with their teachers & aides after the introductory rites to meet in the St. Mary’s Chapel and return during the offertory.

Before mass each week of Children’s Liturgy, stop by our welcome table in the gathering place to pick up your child’s nametag so we can meet you and your child. This fall Children’s Liturgy will begin in October and continue through June.  Sign-up will be required as space is limited.

What is Little Flowers?
A Fun, Flexible, Faith-filled Catholic Club for girls! Little Flowers Girls’ Club® is a Catholic club for girls ages 5 and up that teaches virtues through scripture, saints’ biographies, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This beautiful, authentically Catholic program, has delighted and instilled in our girls a love of our Catholic Faith for over 25 years. It consists of four years of study: Wreaths I, II, III, and IV. Each Wreath consists of nine virtues. Like a scouting program, girls earn badges for the virtues they have practiced, and life skills they have learned. But unlike most scouting organizations, the girls learn and earn their badges through a distinctly Catholic lens. This Catholic to the Core program relies on the stories of the saints, Sacred Scripture, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

What is Blue Knights?
A Fun, Flexible, Faith-filled Catholic Club for boys ages 5 and up. The Blue Knights Catholic Club is a boys’ club aimed at teaching the truths of the Catholic faith to boys through Scripture, saints’ biographies, games, crafts, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This program maps out nine virtues for boys ages 5 and up in the first year, and then follows up with four years covering nine catechetical lessons each. Extra badges and service medals can be earned through activities encouraging a Catholic worldview. Patron saint badges, major badges and medals are all available. Blue Knights is new this year and will run at the same time as Little Flowers provided we have leaders in place.
