Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Interested in RCIA?

RCIA helps adults and young adults learn about the Catholic Faith and prepare them for the initiation sacraments that are typically celebrated at the Easter Vigil Mass which will be on April 16 next spring (2022). Candidates and their sponsors meet together on most Tuesday evenings from the fall through Easter, plus two sessions after Easter.
If you have questions or interest in joining RCIA, please contact Chris Kuhn ASAP
at (952) 469-6480 or
Participants/Candidates include:
  • Those who are not yet baptized preparing to celebrate Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist
  • Those baptized in another Christian denomination preparing to become Catholic with celebrating Confirmation and First Eucharist
  • Plus those who were baptized Catholic, but not yet confirmed, preparing to celebrate their Confirmation, and perhaps First Eucharist.
More Parish Sponsors are welcome to participate in RCIA as a support to those who are preparing for initiation sacraments. Confirmed, practicing Catholics are eligible.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Children

RCIC - Ages 7 - 13

Families with older children who would like to prepare for Baptism are prepared for the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC). This includes being a part of our parish Faith Formation program and several additional sessions that align with our adult RCIA program. These sacraments are received at Easter.
