Instrumentalists
Instrumentalists can play a unique role in augmenting our keyboard leadership of congregational singing and musical prayer. Wind and string instruments, in the appropriate balance, are well suited to supporting congregational singing because of their ability to sustain sound. Other instruments can also add to the timbre of the ensemble. Some instruments are more suited for solo playing while others fit more into ensemble playing. Previous training supporting a strong sense of rhythm and intonation is required.
