Young Voices Choir (Grades 2-8)

Does your child love to sing?  Join the Young Voices choir (Grades 2-8) to experience the JOY of singing the beautiful music of our Catholic faith at Mass.  Singing in a choir gives children the opportunity to use their gifts and talents to bring glory to God, lead the congregation in prayer, and expand their musical skills. The group is open to students from any school setting: public, home-schooled, Catholic school, or other private school.

Two rehearsal options:
Track 1: MONDAYS 2:25-3:30pm, OR
Track 2: MONDAYS 4:30-5:30pm

Track 1 and Track 2 rehearse separately but sing together for Sunday Mass approximately once per month, as well as Christmas Eve. Singers may join at any point during the year. Email Carissa at [email protected] for more information.

Carissa Bartlett and Kathy Borgen co-direct Young Voices.

Easter Choir Signups are open!
The Festival Choir begins rehearsals on Wednesday, Feb 21, to prepare music for Holy Week and Easter. New singers and those from various ensembles and choirs in the parish come together to form one combined choir for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil (and, optionally, Easter Sunday at 9:30am). This choir sings four-part music. It is an excellent opportunity for new singers to join the choir for a six-week commitment. If you are not available for all the liturgies, it is possible to sing for some of them; you are still welcome to sing in the choir for a particular Mass if you attend rehearsals. Register by Thurs., Feb. 15
.

7:30AM GROUP

Rehearses: 7-7:20am before scheduled Mass, year-round

FUNERAL CHOIR
Rehearsal:  30 minutes prior to the funeral Mass.

The funeral choir provides an opportunity to care for the sick and mourning, and remember those who have gone before us. This singing group brings comfort to families during their time of mourning through their gift of music. Funerals are typically scheduled late morning on weekdays. Funeral choir members are not expected to sing for every funeral - simply come as you are able.
