Master Planning: The Future

Header

Dear Parishioners of All Saints,

Greetings in Christ Jesus!

As most of you know, a steering committee of All Saints staff and parish leadership have been preparing for our future by researching our needs for ministry in our parish, and their related facility requirements as we move forward. The process began in the fall of 2019 and was stalled by the pandemic in early 2020.

We engaged the services of Miller Dunwiddie, an architectural firm with deep experience in churches and schools in our local Catholic community, to prepare a master plan of concepts for the next phase of growth and ministry at All Saints. I am grateful that many of you came to public meetings last fall and offered your insight based on your experience and vision for our parish in the future.

Attached, you will find an executive summary of their report that includes concepts (not completed plans) to address the facilities needs of All Saints in the near and long term future. The plans take into consideration the changes in our community since the facility was built, changes in the environment we live in, and anticipated needs now and well into the future. The concepts include addressing essential upgrades in safety, security, hospitality, and accessibility, along with needs for our growing parish and school community.

The next step will be engaging our All Saints parish family with more questions about our needs. That process will likely begin in early December and begin engaging with parishioners in early 2024.

Thank you for your continued support of our mission to Lead People to Christ in Liturgy, Learning, Sacraments, and Service.

Peace in Christ,
FTW
Father Thomas Wilson
