Teams of our Lady

teamTeams of Our Lady

Teams of Our Lady is an international lay movement in the Catholic Church, designed to enrich marriage spirituality and make good marriages better. It provides a proven method of increasing and improving prayer life, which will help couples grow closer to God and each other. A team is made up of five to seven married couples desiring to grow in their marital vocation. The team meets one time per month, rotating from one home to another. The team shares a simple meal, prayer, sharing on shared exercises called endeavors, and discussion on a study topic. These teams are formed when six to eight couples in a local area commit to a one-year study period. The decision to continue as a team is renewed annually.

Teams of Our Lady is not strictly a parish-based movement, although many teams are formed through parish relationships. If you want to learn more about teams go to their website: www.teamsofourlady.org. The About Teams page includes a video that gives you a feel for the meeting and the commitment.
