who is married to you for myself for the longest time Mary meant nothing for the longest time I had virtually no Devotion to Mary whatsoever things are a little better now but when I was in college I had a spiritual director that I knew I didn't have much Marion. and so for Lent for my Penance he told me to pray the Rosary every day that was a tall order and I'd like to say that this time really helps me to grow my love for the rosary and to really strengthen a devotion that really was I would like to say that but it didn't quite do that the one thing that it did was it helped me realize the reality of Mary that today at this very moment Mary is body and soul together flesh and Bone was flesh and bone is right now flesh and Bone living see as Christians we all believe in something called the resurrection of the body the resurrection of the Dead depending on if you're saying the Nicene Creed which we will say here in a few minutes or the apostolic Creed either way you say it it is pointing to this fact We Believe after we die and our bodies and souls are separated that that is only a temporary state but at the end of time we will be reunited with our bodies again and we'll leave eternally a bodily existence now most of us will have to wait until the final judgment for such a glorious occasion but in history there have been four people that we know of the eppes moments live Body and Soul glorified in the presence of our heavenly father Enoch Elijah Jesus Christ who is God and Mary that is the feast that we celebrate today the Assumption of Mary Body and Soul into heaven inner glorious Triumph crowned in heaven body and soul and so each one of us Cher in this spiritual communion with her when we pray with her when we ask for her prayers she hears them body and soul that was doesn't mean that we always have to say our prayers to Mary out loud that's part of the glory of being in heaven she can hear our thoughts if we like her and so for me Mary has strengthened my personal belief and understanding the resurrection of the body through her assumption into heaven my question for you is what does Mary mean to you
