I wish I should speak in my own language and be sure that you understand the message. But I don't mind, because I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit and this power of the Holy Spirit is working inside me and inside each of you and in our church. And this power of the Holy Spirit will help us to understand each other even with my African accent. 
We are Crosier fathers and brothers. We started our mission in Europe in 1210. We have been serving the Catholic church for many years, more than 800 years. Serving the church in Europe, in United States, in Brazil, in Africa and also in Indonesia and I'm here for the mission appeal for our mission in Indonesia.  
When you see the crosier fathers and brothers just think about one sentence and this truly is our mission: Touching to touch, suffering with hope. That is it. When you see the Crosier fathers and brothers think about just one sentence. We started our mission in Indonesia and we started the first Catholic University. In over 90% of Indonesia people are Muslims and in those areas where we start our mission we try to welcome all kids in our different schools to show them that we are one. Even we are different in our religions. 
The second project I want to speak with you is a project of a vocational school where we have kids, youth, who do not have the opportunity to go to school and we want them also to serve their different communities. By teaching them some skills, like how to build a house, how to make tables, how to make chairs, how to work in electricity, how to work with computers. We teach them also how to cook, how to make candles. It is so amazing when you see kids, how they can develop skills they have and when I see different kids who are coming to our Center, to learn those different skills and how often training or education they are serving their own communities. It is wonderful it's just so great and we say this program has to continue.
The other program I want to speak the about is the new missions in different diocese in Papua, where we offer different parishes. Just think about the first missionaries when they arrive in the different places without nothing, as the gospel said, go don't take anything.  In the Crosier fathers and brothers they're starting those new missions without nothing. And people we are serving in Papua, they don't cultivate land. They are just living a subsistence life. They fish, they may take fruits in the jungle, that's all. You cannot speak to them the value, ask them about money. They don’t value the money. If you give them money today they smell everything. So the Crosier’s started the program to teach them how to value money. True value money is very important, to save money is very important for taking care for their own families. And in our different missions are there are no banks so people in different parishes of our mission they just come and drop their little money to the pastor. And the Crosier have to work on them during the week and serve them if they want to use some of their money. It is so strange how we can do those kinds of things. 
What is very difficult on our mission is that there are no roads. If a Crosier wants to move from a mission to another they use boats. They use rivers because they don't have roads and really this is one of our difficult missions but as we have permission of touching suffering with hope and as we listen in the gospel today how Jesus was compassionate to the people he saw them and felt like they were like sheep without Shepherd. And the same way we are doing for the people of Papua to empower them with a good quality of education and we have been very, very successful. 
We cannot do this alone as the Crosier fathers and brothers. It is why we as people, many people to join this Mission and you today to join the mission by your prayer and your contribution. YYou may say I want to support the Crosier fathers and brothers buying a boat to us so that we can travel different, go to our different missions. It cost $4,000 to buy 1 boat and all the equipment. You may say I want to  support the Crosier fathers and brothers because we want to train people who can come in our mission for poor and help us in our different school to teach or to be leaders. It cost to us to support one student  what cost $1,200. You may say I want to support the Crosier fathers and brothers to continue their mission to train Papuan’ people who welcome them because we want Croisier’s from Papua who are understanding the culture and then when they are they become Crosiers they will help us to serve their own communities. To support one seminarians it cost $7,000 for everything for one year. 
I'm really grateful today to your Bishop and the mission office because they heard about our wonderful mission in Papua in Indonesia and when they heard about our wonderful mission they said to us that we should come here and share with you and ask you to join this mission. I'm grateful to your pastor Father Tom who is a warm heart of hospitality he's showing to me this show to me how we are brothers in our priesthood. I'm grateful for that. I feel welcome at your parish.  I'm tired of speaking and I think it is enough today what I have said.
 I have only one minute to speak I want to say to each of you thank you for your support to the mission. There will be a second collection after communion. If you are not ready today you can send your check to the parish next week and then the parish will send it to the mission.
