Jesus the one who would give them life through baptism of Holy Spirit John was fulfilling his ministry he was the last of the prophets of old and he was fulfilling the prophecy of up that Elijah would return and turn the hearts of the people so can we today voices in the wild in compelling ways like John the Baptist in his quest to turn people's hearts toward Jesus well if familiarity breeds contempt it really was not the case in the relationship between John the Baptist and Jesus know for John was a relative of Jesus he was older by a few months and there was certainly Jordan 4 fear
