Brief Bio:
My husband, Joe, and I have lived in Lakeville since 1998 when we joined All Saints Catholic Church.  Our sons, Joshua and Lucas, are alumni of All Saints Catholic School. Through the years we have been involved in various ministries; first, those that revolved around the kids, like faith formation, youth ministry, Scouts, and now, more of the adult ministries like small groups, Cana Dinner and Women of All Saints.

I am a dual-degreed alumna of the University of St. Thomas, where I also worked for 14 years in alumni relations, directing programs and events that helped alumni stay connected with their alma mater while supporting the mission of the institution during the largest capital campaign in its history.

After completing my master’s in Catholic Studies, I took classes at The Saint Paul Seminary to learn the details of church management and pursued the role of parish administrator. Becoming more familiar with the operational-side of parish life has been amazing. I helped guide the Church of the Holy Spirit through their capital campaign to alleviate debt of $2.6 million and build the endowments to nearly $4 million while implementing new ministries.  Mission and vision came together as I completed the Catechetical Institute through The Saint Paul Seminary and my certificate in Church Management from Villanova.

Fun Facts:

I grew up in the Chisago Lakes area on a hobby farm. All of my grandparents lived in the area and were farmers. I spent most weekends at one or the other’s farms involved in chores of some sort or playing on the many acres of land that they had with my brother and aunt (only two years older than me). My parents, brother’s family and mother-in-law still live in the Chisago Lakes area. My great, great grandfather donated farmland to build a Catholic church in the area known as Franconia along the St. Croix River. The church, Saint Francis Xavier, is a mission parish of Saint Joseph’s in Taylors Falls, and has hosted many family weddings, funerals and reunions. The cemetery is the resting spot for many of my family’s loved ones.
