Hello, I am with our Faith Enrichment Program to provide support for families with elementary-aged children. This includes overseeing Spirit Kids, our Wednesday evening classes for children in grades 1-5, and coordinating the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist for all families in the parish. If you have questions or would like more information I would be very happy to visit with you.
I lived in the Winona Diocese in southern Minnesota during the first part of my life. I began parish work at St. Adrian Church, Adrian when my four children were young. After they left the nest, I moved to the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis where I worked for the parishes of Sacred Heart/St. Lawrence, Faribault and St. Wenceslaus, New Prague before coming to All Saints in 2008.
While at St. Wenceslaus, I completed a Master of Arts Degree in Religious Education through the Murray Institute, a program through St. Thomas University and the Archdiocese of St. Paul/ Minneapolis designed to provide educational opportunities for lay employees in the church.
Grandchildren have brought back the joys that children bring to family life. We gather frequently at my country home enjoying many campfires and nature sightings. I have kept a nature journal for the past 16 years. Our most recent sightings was two dozen or more migratory Trumpeter Swans in the very wet fields close by.
