Feast of All Saints/All Souls
All Souls Day - Saturday, Nov 2 - Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed
Saturday, November 2 is the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls Day).
The Church takes this day each year to remember all those who have died and “gone before us marked with the sign of faith.” In faith, we believe that we remain united with our loved ones because the Kingdom of God is not bound by death.
We remember especially those who have died in the past year.
Our Book of Remembrance will be displayed in the Gathering Space
near the entrance to St. Mary’s Chapel from late-October through mid-November.
You are invited to write the names of deceased loved ones.
Mass on All Souls Day will be celebrated at 8:00am.
In addition, the parish necrology (a list of the names of those who have been buried from All Saints during the past year) will be read at all of the weekend Masses on Nov 9/10.
