our story kind of begins when we went to look at a house and why the landlord didn't tell us that there was an image of two women hugging each other is confusing to me but we walked in and we were looking and all the sudden my daughter tap me on the shoulder and said Mom is not right it's like that's not a right picture on their end are there Hammer with so we moved out of the house as quickly as possible but it made us have to start talking about this and our kids were really young at this point they were like five and seven I think we had many conversations starting on the drive home about what is respectful and how to honor and what is Modesty one of the blessings though that comes with the different time fit our children have been exposed just around the world and that we have a chance to act talk to them and try to explain to them that they don't have to feel shame that they found this and that they need to talk to us about it but it's something that we don't want us we don't seek out and we want to protect ourselves from and as much as you can today just Pro priate level try to explain cuz we had a whole lot of questions like why would this even be here like why would this be out there if it's not good it's not for God why would we do it cuz kids are so wonderful innocent safe would you put bad things out there so that conversation that some people make these choices but we want to protect ourselves and be able to see the good that God has given us and not speak the bath and I think I mean like decide think of my own experience I was exposed very young my brother and I were just playing outside in the winter time and playing around the tree and dug up for digging up some snow and found a page from Time Magazine and I mean I was exposed I think it's I was 6 years old so I mean I know that kids can get exposed young and I know that there's so much more even you know right now we're 34 and you know growing up there's so much more now than what you don't want that's available then even when we were growing up so so I think you just have to assume that your kids are going to get exposing just mind my Siri on it and I thought we talked about this is just is that you got to get out in front of the culture you got to get out in front of it and then be right there with your child and I mean obviously didn't age appropriate level but you know talk to them about the beauty of the human body God's creation and read Regenesis to them and explain it in a way that they be open about your faith just letting you know that's going to do so much too and I believe that'll do so much just to just to help give them the ground working in the grace that they need for it but if it's whether you're doing it or someone else's do and there's a concern there and so we weren't talking about  it said idea that were trying to avoid that into place so that they're aware of that so if they mean statistically and looking at everything that we know what the chances of them being expose more than just an image but like actual like looking at  and more active form something that happens a lot of times by middle school and we want them you know that like that trigger something like oh I shouldn't be hiding this something's not right about it just moral Foundation doing the goal is ideally you would love to have your child never exposed to never have to deal with but just knowing the world that we live in and I mean just looking around things that are would have been scandalous so much when you're younger like they wouldn't have been allowed on we see and it's just like all that that treinta form them and help them guide to it all
