Biography
I was born and raised on Minnesota’s Iron Range in Hibbing…so, yes, that makes me a Ranger. I earned my B.A. in Journalism (broadcast) at the University of Minnesota where I was blessed to meet Lisa while we both were in the U of M Marching Band. We’ve been married for 36 years and have four (4) lovely daughters who are each married to wonderful men and have given us 16 grandchildren with two more on the way! We have a 3-year-old English Golden Retriever named Luna.

I joined the church through RCIA in 1996 where our family was blessed to experience the Triduum in full and we’ve never looked back. Easter Vigil is our go-to Easter Mass and easily our favorite time in the church calendar.

Our family has been members of All Saints since 2003.

Fun Facts
I worked as a weekend radio announcer starting at the age of 15. I received my first camera as a high school graduation gift! During college, I worked one season as an interpretive guide at historic Ft. Snelling. (Those boots and wool military uniforms of that period were the worst!)

I’ve had the opportunity to visit many countries in the world, but all for work so I usually saw the airport, the ride to the hotel/venue, and the ride back to the airport. However, in 1988 I did spend a day on a tour at Panmunjom, Korea while working at the Summer Olympics.

I’ve been a television reporter, assignment editor, managing editor, video producer, writer, editor, podcaster (reading daily scriptures) as well as a stage manager for network television sports broadcasts. Oh, true or false: I have also been a Funeral Director's Assistant.  :-)

Lisa and I love, love, love camping!!!
