Women's Emmaus Retreat

2017 Women's Retreat

When was the last time you gave yourself a gift that will last forever? The women's Emmaus retreat is the one stop shop for finding such a gift.

What happens on the weekend?

The Lord comes to spend time with you and you with Him. You will be pampered and relaxed to open your heart to Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

During past retreats there have been many blessings and graces showered down on the women and the Franciscan Retreat Center in Prior Lake.

This is a wonderful weekend for those who have never been on retreat before. You will meet other women from All Saints, be able to explore the many acres of peaceful grounds at the retreat center, spend time in prayer in the beautiful chapel and be free from the distractions of your daily routine.  With your whole self being relaxed, you will be able to open your heart and listen to your friend, Jesus and the Holy Spirit as you search for inner peace and joy. What a gift!
The retreat is based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35, the Emmaus reading, where two disciples returning to Emmaus encounter the Risen Lord. Similarly, the retreat offers an opportunity to encounter or rediscover Jesus in our lives and find fellowship with women who share the Catholic Faith.
It is a time to renew and deepen your relationship with the Lord as well as a vehicle to meet other women in the parish who are also looking for friendship. You will spend time hearing the Word, listening to the witness of All Saints women who have experienced the retreat in the past. The Liturgy is the high point of the weekend.
