Boy Scout Troop 260 is a boy-led Troop that prepares young people to be leaders in the community and individuals of strong character by helping them discover the principles of Scouting by participation in advancement and recognition, camping, community service, STEM, and high adventure activities.

Scouts BSA is designed to take place in the outdoors. It's outside that Scouts share responsibilities and learn to live with one another. It's outside that skills and activities practiced at troop meetings come alive with purpose. Outside is the laboratory in which Scouts gain self-esteem, leadership skills, and an appreciation for the world around them.

Scouts plan their own advancement and progress at their own pace. Choose from 120 interests ranging from game development to wilderness survival. Experts in these fields are ready to provide fun, real-world experiences. A Scout is rewarded for each achievement which helps him gain self-confidence. Setting their own goals helps Scouts grow in self-reliance.

Adult volunteers serve as leaders that provide coaching and instruction to scouts at meetings and camp-outs.  Mission Partners  share their areas of interest by being a merit badge counselor or can serve on the Troop committee which is responsible for Troop business.

Boy Scout Troop 260 meets on Monday nights from 7-8:15pm at All Saints Catholic Church.

Cub Scouts is a program for young boys (Kindergarten through 5th grade) designed to develop each scout’s faith, citizenship, character, and fitness. Scouting instills a dedication to three duties; duty to God and country, duty to others, and duty to self. In addition to these, scouts learn useful life skills including cooking, camping, first-aid, emergency preparedness, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, and much more. The program is structured around fun activities that parents, and scouts participate in together; games, camp-outs, STEM projects, field trips, and more. The program is parent-driven, and scouts earn awards for participating in pack activities and also for engaging positively in their family life and faith. Parents and adult leaders assist with activities and share their talents in delivering the program, making this a fun and fruitful faith-based program for the whole family.

Serving the Lakeville area since 1997.
