After eight months of open youth rooms, attending Masses, and sleeping in beds that weren’t our own, we’re heading home! We, as a NET Team, would like to thank the parishioners of All Saints for all the love and support we received while we were here. Our ministry would not have been possible without your encouraging words, shining smiles, and most importantly, your prayers. Although we are leaving Lakeville, we want to let you know where we’re headed in the near future (just so you don’t think we’ve fallen off the edge of the earth!).
Kate will be returning to Abingdon, Maryland where she hopes to find an opportunity to utilize her passion for mission work. Alex will be returning to North Dakota State University to spread the love of the Lord to the Bison and study electrical engineering. John Mark plans to live life, enjoy his family, and attend a local community college when he returns to Miami, FL. Samantha will put her experience this year into practice as she dives into ministry opportunities at her own parish in Turlock, CA. John will return to Melrose, MN to work on his family’s dairy farm and seek the Lord’s will for his life. Melissa will be moving to St. Paul in the fall to attend St. Catherine’s University, to study Nursing and Catholic Studies. Stephanie will be moving back to Arizona to use her degree in Catechetic and Theology to serve the church in some capacity, potentially as a teacher. Daniel has prayerfully decided to continue to serve with NET Ministries and will return to West St. Paul at the end of August to begin his second year. Pray for us during our time of transition and integration into our prospective “next chapters” of our lives!
It has been a privilege to be a part of the All Saints community this year. We have absolutely loved working with the youth and getting to know your families. Again, we thank you for everything you’ve done for us and we’ll continue to keep the All Saints Parish community in our hearts and prayers.
United in the Eucharist, through our Blessed Mother’s intercession,
NET Team 10 2011-2012
