PRESCHOOL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Parent Advisory meets monthly and consists of parents and the preschool director. Each of the four classes are represented by a parent.

The Advisory meets to discuss the operation of the preschool and give input into a number of areas. The advisory has instrumented the collection of food for the food shelf and sponsoring two families from the Armful of Love program during the holidays. A parent bulletin board is updated monthly by advisory members, potlucks are hosted several times during the school year along with other social gatherings to build community within the program.

With registration each school year, the advisory gives welcome suggestions as to a format that is used to fill our enrollment for the following year. With their experience and insight, registration should be simple and easy for everyone interested in our program.

Parent Advisory members are chosen randomly from those who indicate an interest at the time of registration. One member also attends the Parish wide Advisory meetings to share with the Parish how we are functioning and what we are accomplishing.
