Support and Resources for Those Seeking Employment

• The Job Transition Group at Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan offers help, training and encouragement to job seekers. (Website http://easter.org/wordpress/job-transitions-group/) This group meets weekly, on Tuesday mornings from 7:30 - 9:00 at "Easter on the Hill."(corner of Diffley Road & Pilot Knob Road).

• The Job Transition Ministry at St. Michael in Prior Lake was created to serve individuals seeking employment opportunities. Topics include: job searching on the internet; resume writing; interviewing skills; insurance options for the unemployed; effective networking strategies; how to conduct an intentional job search; and tightening your financial belt. Employment assistance is provided in a positive and prayerful environment. Childcare is available upon request. Monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Office. The presentations vary from month to month.
