Welcome to All Saints Girl Scouts
- All Saints has a Girl Scout troop for almost every grade through high school.
- We have Daisies - Grades K and 1
- Brownies - Grades 2 and 3
- Juniors - Grades 4 and 5
- Cadettes - Grades 6, 7, 8
- Seniors - Grades 9 and 10
- Ambassadors - Grades 11 and 12
- Most grades meet at the school for troop meetings once a month. This is when they will work on activities to earn a petal, try-it, or badge for their tunic, vest, or sash.
- Troop leaders generally meet another time during the month with their troop for a field trip that is council-sponsored, Lakeville-sponsored, or one that the leader comes up with.
- Meeting times are usually held on the first Friday of the month from 4:00 to 6:00 pm or immediately following school. Meeting times and days may vary by troop depending on the leader’s schedule.
- There is a $12 registration fee due upon registering. This fee goes toward the national council.
- Each troop sets their own activity fee to help the troop get up and running each year. This fee covers the cost of the scout book (if one is used), snack/drink, consumable/nonconsumable items, badges/patches, etc. to be used throughout the year.
- Each parent will pay for a tunic, vest, or sash and the items that will be ironed on to it (ex: council name, troop number, etc.).
- A girl can sign up for Girl Scouts at ANY time during the year and at any grade.
- Girl Scout cookies are sold by all children in Grades K and up.
Fall Product Sales is another form of fundraising that some troops choose to do. - Each troop has one main leader and one or two co-leaders. There are other jobs the leader and co-leader may choose to delegate such as Cookie Parent and Bookkeeping. It is very important that parents volunteer to help out at troop meetings whenever possible and to help out at troop field trips when possible.
- Girl Scouts of All Saints have the opportunity to work on and earn religious pins related to each level of Girl Scouts beginning in 2nd Grade. If you would like more information regarding religious pins contact Eileen Kawalek at ekawalek@allsaintschurch.com.
