Adult Education & Formation at All Saints

  • Adult Advisory - The purpose of this Advisory is to recognize that the spiritual journey is a life-long process. We aim to help provide a broad range of programs to serve the varying faith needs of our adult parishioners. In harmony with our Catholic faith, we seek to wisely use our available resources to offer effective adult programs in the areas of prayer, faith formation, Christian living, community life, and social justice.  
  • Adult Education Series - Usually two or three series on a variety of faith topics are offered during the school year, typically on Monday evenings. Various one-session events are also offered throughout the year.
    Bible Study – Through the school year the parish offers various Bible Study series that meet on Tuesday mornings and also on Thursday evenings. Sessions typically include a large group introduction, small group discussion, and a closing presentation. 
  • Book Clubs – Join other parishioners in enjoying a variety of good reading including novels, biographies, contemporary non-fiction and spiritual classics. The discussion groups are informal and enjoyable, and meet about once a month (choice of mornings or evenings).  
  • Emmaus Ministry – Emmaus is a parish-based ministry program begun in 1978 by Myrna Gallagher from the Archdiocese of Miami. The purpose of Emmaus is to build parish community by initially offering an Emmaus Experience - A Retreat for Women. It is an experience where women gather to be ministered to by other women.  
  • Graced and Gifted – A day set apart especially for women to be encouraged…informed…affirmed and refreshed. An all day session consisting of a keynote speaker and breakout sessions.  
  • Marriage Enrichment - Annually in February we host a Cana Dinner at a local venue off-site. This enjoyable evening includes: social time, meal, guest speaker, prayer, and dessert. Occasional other Date Night or marriage enrichment events are offered.  
  • Men’s Study Group – Meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings of each month this program is open to men of all ages, married or single. It is a great opportunity to reflect on Scripture and the catechism as well as how to apply the Catholic faith to daily life.  
  • Ministry of Mothers Sharing - This outreach ministry of the Sisters of St. Benedict of St. Paul's Monastery gathers women for spiritual support. All women are welcome to this 8-week small group series that is offered here at All Saints various times during the year, usually in fall and winter. Through a process of personal and spiritual growth, women clarify their values, claim their own giftedness, and bring new strength to their family relationships and Christian community.  
  • RCIA - The RCIA process prepares adults for initiation sacraments, which are typically celebrated at the Easter Vigil Mass in the spring. Candidates and their sponsors meet together on many Tuesday evenings beginning in September and continuing to Easter.  
  • Retreats – Annually we have an Advent Retreat on a weekday evening that begins with a Mass, then continues with a talk and a prayer service followed by refreshments. Occasionally we have a Lenten or other retreat as well.
